The Wadi Rum Trail will be holding its first ever thru hike of the route in December 2025. Bedouin of three different tribes will collaborate to lead hikers on the route and it will be supported only with camels, with the caravan moving in the traditional, age old way people have travelled for millennia in these deserts. The thru hike will integrate all climbing sections including the crossings of Raqaba Canyon, Jebel Birda and Jebel Rum. However, any hikers who want to avoid these can be guided around them on easier walking routes. The thru hike will run from Friday, December 12 to Saturday, December 20 and will be a small team with no more than 10 people. Demand is always high for thru hikes so please be sure to message as soon as possible to join up.
